Our stunning planetarium is available for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies. Tie the knot under starlit skies – whatever the weather – for a truly unforgettable ceremony.

For a more traditional affair, ceremonies can also be held in the Scotswood, Grainger and Marlborough.

Our planetarium seats 70 and can be hired for wedding ceremonies from £650. Please note: planetarium wedding ceremonies can only be booked alongside a wedding reception at Life.

The Blaydon and Gibbs can seat up to 40 for a ceremony, and larger parties of 71 – 200 can hire the Scotswood, Grainger or Marlborough.
